Resetting your 2FA
When a LVL member first configures their 2FA, a secret is presented on the screen. Users can reset their 2FA by using that secret. If you use:
- Google Authenticator – select the ‘+’ symbol, select ‘manual entry’, and enter your secret key
- Authy – ‘Add Account’ and then enter key manually. More information here
Alternatively, if you still have the original device that was used for authentication, you may be able to transfer the 2FA app via device backup and restore the backup the new device, depending on your device and settings.
If you do not have your secret, or device backup is not an option, you can reset your 2FA from within your account portal at https://lvl.co/myaccount/.
Please note, 2FA resets that require re-verification of identity and document information may take up to 2 business days.
