Put your Bitcoin to work by investing easily with Autopilot. Autopilot automatically trades your crypto 24/7 and earns an income by helping other LVL users exchange their cash and crypto.
Autopilot uses a proven strategy for making money called Market Making, and is powered by state-of-the-art algorithms. Your assets are used to buy crypto below market price and sell it back above market price (your spread). This provides value by creating liquidity for other users, and you earn a profit on the spread you charge.
On many marketplaces, Market Making is an exclusive privilege reserved for the marketplace or high frequency trading firms. On Coinbase Consumer, for example, consumers are charged a 2-17% Market Making fee, with all proceeds going to Coinbase. Though Autopilot, we offer Market Making to all users. We don’t take a cut, and Autopilot is included in your subscription.
No investment strategy can completely eliminate the risk of investment losses. You are responsible for the risks and the financial resources you use to determine an investment strategy. You should not engage in trading unless you fully understand the nature of the transactions you are participating in and the extent of your exposure and tolerance for investment losses. If you do not fully understand the risks involved in trading, we encourage you to seek independent advice from a financial advisor.
To access Autopilot, tap the crypto tab on the LVL app home screen and select Autopilot at the top. To use Autopilot, you need to move cash or crypto into it.
To modify the settings for Autopilot:
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon
- Adjust the Spread slider to set your profit margin
- Adjust the Give slider to set your rebalancing preference
- Activate the toggle button for each crypto you wish to trade
- Press Save
Spread - Spread is the amount of profit margin you ask for each trade. A high Spread results in higher profits but fewer trades. On the other hand, a low Spread trades more often for a lower profit per trade.
Give - Give is the discount on your Spread you offer to rebalance your inventory. For example, if you are trading Bitcoin and hold much more cash than Bitcoin in your Autopilot, it will offer a higher price for Bitcoin to rebalance its holdings. A high Give trades more often and is more likely to be balanced. A low Give maximizes profit per trade but is not always able to trade.
